IInfinity said...: Hello ... I went to high school with Marcus and sadly I've lost contact with everyone in his family, including his sister & the boys, and would love to be back in contact again. Actually, I would love to bring my husband out to see Colorado Springs sometime too (we're still in the Buffalo area); I had a great time when I visited 8 years ago with my sister & dad ... boy time flies ... and it would be great to visit and have a personal tour guide again. Life in Colorado

Since meeting Marcus at Carrabba's Restuarant in April 2001, life has continued to blossom! We happily married in October 2002, two weeks after the birth of our first son Logan Otto. After starting our family Marcus and I both did some soul searching and defined what we wanted life to look like... We both went back to school pursuing degrees in Firefighting and School Counseling. We proudly welcomed Collin Thomas into our lives on March 2, 2006. Life has not slowed down for Marcus and I since we met. We are both now working in our dream careers and raising two boys that are both beaming rays of lights.
Logan is now 5 and is almost a kindergarten graduate. He is very smart, funny, and a delight to be around. He can intellectulize with the best of us. He loves to talk and we are constantly reminded of what a great kid he is from all of the compliments that we receive.
Collin defines a toddler; we just celebrated his 2nd birthday. He is such a busy body and tries so hard to do EVERYTHING that bubba can do. His favorite word is "mine" and is constantly having to be redirected to make better choices. He loves his "mom" and "dad" (not mommy or daddy) and shows it by always wanting to cuddle. He has those big puppy dog eyes (just like Logan did) and tries hard to use them to his advantage. Collin has convinced me that the skill of manipulation is not learned but is something that you are born with!
We love life in Colorado and are excited that our boys are both getting a little older so that we can start really enjoying all that our mountains have to offer. Marcus is training to be a rafting guide and we are planning on doing a lot of camping this year. Logan learned how to fish last summer and is a natural. Life is good and we are convinced that it will only continue to get better!
